သောဏသုတ္တ
With Soṇa
ဧကံ သမယံ ဘဂဝါ ရာဇဂဟေ ဝိဟရတိ ဝေဠုဝနေ ကလန္ဒကနိဝါပေ၊
At one time the Buddha was staying near Rājagaha, in the Bamboo Grove, the squirrels’ feeding ground.
အထ ခေါ သောဏော ဂဟပတိပုတ္တော ယေန ဘဂဝါ တေနုပသင်္ကမိ; ဥပသင်္ကမိတွာ ဘဂဝန္တံ အဘိဝါဒေတွာ ဧကမန္တံ နိသီဒိ၊ ဧကမန္တံ နိသိန္နော ခေါ သောဏော ဂဟပတိပုတ္တော ဘဂဝန္တံ ဧတဒဝေါစ:
Then the householder Soṇa went up to the Buddha, bowed, sat down to one side, and said to him:
“ကော နု ခေါ, ဘန္တေ, ဟေတု, ကော ပစ္စယော ယေန မ်'ဣဓေကစ္စေ သတ္တာ ဒိဋ္ဌေဝ ဓမ္မေ နော ပရိနိဗ္ဗာယန္တိ? ကော ပန, ဘန္တေ, ဟေတု, ကော ပစ္စယော ယေန မ်'ဣဓေကစ္စေ သတ္တာ ဒိဋ္ဌေဝ ဓမ္မေ ပရိနိဗ္ဗာယန္တီ”တိ?
“What is the cause, sir, what is the reason why some sentient beings aren’t fully extinguished in the present life? What is the cause, sir, what is the reason why some sentient beings are fully extinguished in the present life?” …
