“သတ္တ ဝေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အပရိဟာနိယေ ဓမ္မေ ဒေသေဿာမိ၊ တံ သုဏာထ, သာဓုကံ မနသိ ကရောထ …ပေ…၊ ကတမေ စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သတ္တ အပရိဟာနိယာ ဓမ္မာ? ယာဝကီဝဉ္စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခူ အနိစ္စသညံ ဘာဝေဿန္တိ; ဝုဒ္ဓိယေဝ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခူနံ ပါဋိကင်္ခါ, နော ပရိဟာနိ၊
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you seven principles that prevent decline. Listen and apply your mind well … And what are the seven principles that prevent decline? As long as the bhikkhus develop the perception of impermanence …
ယာဝကီဝဉ္စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခူ အနတ္တသညံ ဘာဝေဿန္တိ …ပေ… အသုဘသညံ ဘာဝေဿန္တိ … အာဒီနဝသညံ ဘာဝေဿန္တိ … ပဟာနသညံ ဘာဝေဿန္တိ … ဝိရာဂသညံ ဘာဝေဿန္တိ … နိရောဓသညံ ဘာဝေဿန္တိ; ဝုဒ္ဓိယေဝ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခူနံ ပါဋိကင်္ခါ, နော ပရိဟာနိ၊ ယာဝကီဝဉ္စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဣမေ သတ္တ အပရိဟာနိယာ ဓမ္မာ ဘိက္ခူသု ဌဿန္တိ, ဣမေသု စ သတ္တသု အပရိဟာနိယေသု ဓမ္မေသု, ဘိက္ခူ သန္ဒိဿိဿန္တိ; ဝုဒ္ဓိယေဝ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခူနံ ပါဋိကင်္ခါ, နော ပရိဟာနီ”တိ၊
not-self … ugliness … drawbacks … giving up … fading away … cessation, they can expect growth, not decline. As long as these seven principles that prevent decline last among the bhikkhus, and as long as the bhikkhus are seen following them, they can expect growth, not decline.”
