සඞ්ඛතලක්ඛණසුත්ත
Characteristics of the Conditioned
“තීණිමානි, භික්ඛවේ, සඞ්ඛතස්ස සඞ්ඛතලක්ඛණානි. කතමානි තීණි? උප්පාදෝ පඤ්ඤායති, වයෝ පඤ්ඤායති, ඨිතස්ස අඤ්ඤථත්තං පඤ්ඤායති. ඉමානි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, තීණි සඞ්ඛතස්ස සඞ්ඛතලක්ඛණානී”ති.
“Bhikkhus, conditioned phenomena have these three characteristics. What three? Arising is evident, vanishing is evident, and change while persisting is evident. These are the three characteristics of conditioned phenomena.”

Characteristics of the Unconditioned
“තීණිමානි, භික්ඛවේ, අසඞ්ඛතස්ස අසඞ්ඛතලක්ඛණානි. කතමානි තීණි? න උප්පාදෝ පඤ්ඤායති, න වයෝ පඤ්ඤායති, න ඨිතස්ස අඤ්ඤථත්තං පඤ්ඤායති. ඉමානි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, තීණි අසඞ්ඛතස්ස අසඞ්ඛතලක්ඛණානී”ති.
“Unconditioned phenomena have these three characteristics. What three? No arising is evident, no vanishing is evident, and no change while persisting is evident. These are the three characteristics of unconditioned phenomena.”
