Not Knowing Functioning Patterns
သာဝတ္ထိနိဒါနံ၊
At Sāvatthī.
ဧကမန္တံ နိသိန္နော ခေါ ဝစ္ဆဂေါတ္တော ပရိဗ္ဗာဇကော ဘဂဝန္တံ ဧတဒဝေါစ:
Then the wanderer Vacchagotta said to the Buddha:
“ကော နု ခေါ, ဘော ဂေါတမ, ဟေတု, ကော ပစ္စယော, ယာနိမာနိ အနေကဝိဟိတာနိ ဒိဋ္ဌိဂတာနိ လောကေ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇန္တိ—သဿတော လောကောတိ ဝါ, အသဿတော လောကောတိ ဝါ …ပေ… နေဝ ဟောတိ န န ဟောတိ တထာဂတော ပရံ မရဏာတိ ဝါ”တိ?
“What is the cause, Master Gotama, what is the reason why these various misconceptions arise in the world? …”
“သင်္ခါရေသု ခေါ, ဝစ္ဆ, အညာဏာ, သင်္ခါရသမုဒယေ အညာဏာ, သင်္ခါရနိရောဓေ အညာဏာ, သင်္ခါရနိရောဓဂါမိနိယာ ပဋိပဒါယ အညာဏာ; ဧဝမိမာနိ အနေကဝိဟိတာနိ ဒိဋ္ဌိဂတာနိ လောကေ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇန္တိ—သဿတော လောကောတိ ဝါ, အသဿတော လောကောတိ ဝါ …ပေ… နေဝ ဟောတိ န န ဟောတိ တထာဂတော ပရံ မရဏာတိ ဝါတိ၊ အယံ ခေါ, ဝစ္ဆ, ဟေတု, အယံ ပစ္စယော, ယာနိမာနိ အနေကဝိဟိတာနိ ဒိဋ္ဌိဂတာနိ လောကေ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇန္တိ—သဿတော လောကောတိ ဝါ, အသဿတော လောကောတိ ဝါ …ပေ… နေဝ ဟောတိ န န ဟောတိ တထာဂတော ပရံ မရဏာတိ ဝါ”တိ၊
“Vaccha, it is because of not knowing functioning patterns, their origin, their cessation, and the practice that leads to their cessation …”
