“တီဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဗာလော ဝေဒိတဗ္ဗော၊ ကတမေဟိ တီဟိ? သဗျာဗဇ္ဈေန ကာယကမ္မေန, သဗျာဗဇ္ဈေန ဝစီကမ္မေန, သဗျာဗဇ္ဈေန မနောကမ္မေန …ပေ… အဗျာဗဇ္ဈေန ကာယကမ္မေန, အဗျာဗဇ္ဈေန ဝစီကမ္မေန, အဗျာဗဇ္ဈေန မနောကမ္မေန၊ ဣမေဟိ, ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တီဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ပဏ္ဍိတော ဝေဒိတဗ္ဗော၊
“A fool is known by three things. What three? Hurtful deeds by way of body, speech, and mind. … An astute person is known by kind deeds by way of body, speech, and mind. These are the three things by which an astute person is known.
တသ္မာတိဟ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဧဝံ သိက္ခိတဗ္ဗံ: ‘ယေဟိ တီဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဗာလော ဝေဒိတဗ္ဗော တေ တယော ဓမ္မေ အဘိနိဝဇ္ဇေတွာ, ယေဟိ တီဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ပဏ္ဍိတော ဝေဒိတဗ္ဗော တေ တယော ဓမ္မေ သမာဒါယ ဝတ္တိဿာမာ'တိ၊ ဧဝဉှိ ဝေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သိက္ခိတဗ္ဗန်”တိ၊
So you should train like this: ‘We will reject the three qualities by which a fool is known, and we will undertake and follow the three qualities by which an astute person is known.’ That’s how you should train.”
