15. Good Fortune
ပုဗ္ဗဏှသုတ္တ
Morning
“ယေ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သတ္တာ ပုဗ္ဗဏှသမယံ ကာယေန သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, ဝါစာယ သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, မနသာ သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, သုပုဗ္ဗဏှော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တေသံ သတ္တာနံ၊
“Bhikkhus, those sentient beings who do good things in the morning by way of body, speech, and mind have a good morning.
ယေ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သတ္တာ မဇ္ဈနှိကသမယံ ကာယေန သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, ဝါစာယ သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, မနသာ သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, သုမဇ္ဈနှိကော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တေသံ သတ္တာနံ၊
Those sentient beings who do good things at midday by way of body, speech, and mind have a good midday.
ယေ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သတ္တာ သာယနှသမယံ ကာယေန သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, ဝါစာယ သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, မနသာ သုစရိတံ စရန္တိ, သုသာယနှော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တေသံ သတ္တာနန္တိ၊
Those sentient beings who do good things in the evening by way of body, speech, and mind have a good evening.
သုနက္ခတ္တံ သုမင်္ဂလံ, သုပ္ပဘာတံ သုဟုဋ္ဌိတံ; သုခဏော သုမုဟုတ္တော စ, သုယိဋ္ဌံ ဗြဟ္မစာရိသု၊
A good star, a good fortune, a good dawn, a good rising, a good moment, a good hour: these come with good gifts to spiritual practitioners.
ပဒက္ခိဏံ ကာယကမ္မံ, ဝါစာကမ္မံ ပဒက္ခိဏံ; ပဒက္ခိဏံ မနောကမ္မံ, ပဏီဓိ တေ ပဒက္ခိဏေ; ပဒက္ခိဏာနိ ကတွာန, လဘန္တတ္ထေ ပဒက္ခိဏေ၊
Worthy deeds of body, verbal worthy deeds, worthy deeds of mind, worthy resolutions: when your deeds have been worthy, you get worthy benefits.
တေ အတ္ထလဒ္ဓါ သုခိတာ, ဝိရုဠှာ ဗုဒ္ဓသာသနေ; အရောဂါ သုခိတာ ဟောထ, သဟ သဗ္ဗေဟိ ဉာတိဘီ”တိ၊
Those happy with these benefits flourish in the Buddha’s teaching. May you and all your relatives be healthy and happy!”
