නිරයසුත්ත
Hell
“පඤ්චහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තෝ ඒවං නිරයේ. කතමේහි පඤ්චහි? පාණාතිපාතී හෝති, අදින්නාදායී හෝති, කාමේසුමිච්ඡාචාරී හෝති, මුසාවාදී හෝති, සුරාමේරයමජ්ජපමාදට්ඨායී හෝති. ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, පඤ්චහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තෝ ඒවං නිරයේ.
“Bhikkhus, someone with five qualities is cast down to hell. What five? They kill living creatures, steal, commit sexual misconduct, lie, and use alcoholic drinks that cause negligence. Someone with these five qualities is cast down to hell.
පඤ්චහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තෝ ඒවං සග්ගේ. කතමේහි පඤ්චහි? පාණාතිපාතා පටිවිරතෝ හෝති, අදින්නාදානා පටිවිරතෝ හෝති, කාමේසුමිච්ඡාචාරා පටිවිරතෝ හෝති, මුසාවාදා පටිවිරතෝ හෝති, සුරාමේරයමජ්ජපමාදට්ඨානා පටිවිරතෝ හෝති. ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, පඤ්චහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තෝ ඒවං සග්ගේ”ති.
