මච්ඡරිනීසුත්ත
Stingy
“පඤ්චහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතා භික්ඛුනී යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තා ඒවං නිරයේ. කතමේහි පඤ්චහි? ආවාසමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, කුලමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, ලාභමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, වණ්ණමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, ධම්මමච්ඡරිනී හෝති. ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, පඤ්චහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතා භික්ඛුනී යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තා ඒවං නිරයේ.
“Bhikkhus, a nun with five qualities is cast down to hell. What five? She is stingy with dwellings, families, material possessions, praise, and the teaching. A nun with these five qualities is cast down to hell.
පඤ්චහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතා භික්ඛුනී යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තා ඒවං සග්ගේ. කතමේහි පඤ්චහි? න ආවාසමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, න කුලමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, න ලාභමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, න වණ්ණමච්ඡරිනී හෝති, න ධම්මමච්ඡරිනී හෝති. ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, පඤ්චහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතා භික්ඛුනී යථාභතං නික්ඛිත්තා ඒවං සග්ගේ”ති.
A nun with five qualities is raised up to heaven. What five? She is not stingy with dwellings, families, material possessions, praise, or the teaching. A nun with these five qualities is raised up to heaven.”
