An adept
“පඤ්චහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ භික්ඛු ආහුනේය්යෝ හෝති පාහුනේය්යෝ දක්ඛිණේය්යෝ …පේ… අනුත්තරං පුඤ්ඤක්ඛේත්තං ලෝකස්ස.
“Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu with five qualities is worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of veneration with joined palms, and is the supreme field of merit for the world.
කතමේහි, පඤ්චහි? ඉධ, භික්ඛවේ, භික්ඛු අසේඛේන සීලක්ඛන්ධේන සමන්නාගතෝ හෝති, අසේඛේන සමාධික්ඛන්ධේන සමන්නාගතෝ හෝති, අසේඛේන පඤ්ඤාක්ඛන්ධේන සමන්නාගතෝ හෝති, අසේඛේන විමුත්තික්ඛන්ධේන සමන්නාගතෝ හෝති, අසේඛේන විමුත්තිඤාණදස්සනක්ඛන්ධේන සමන්නාගතෝ හෝති. ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, පඤ්චහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ භික්ඛු ආහුනේය්යෝ හෝති …පේ… අනුත්තරං පුඤ්ඤක්ඛේත්තං ලෝකස්සා”ති.
What five? It’s when they have the entire spectrum of the master’s ethics, samādhi, wisdom, freedom, and knowledge and vision of freedom. A bhikkhu with these five qualities … is the supreme field of merit for the world.”
