“ฉยิเม, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺมา สารณียา ปิยกรณา ครุกรณา สงฺคหาย อวิวาทาย สามคฺคิยา เอกีภาวาย สํวตฺตนฺติฯ กตเม ฉ?
“Bhikkhus, these six warm-hearted qualities make for fondness and respect, conducing to inclusion, harmony, and unity, without quarreling. What six?
อิธ, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขุโน เมตฺตํ กายกมฺมํ ปจฺจุปฏฺฐิตํ โหติ สพฺรหฺมจารีสุ อาวิ เจว รโห จ, อยมฺปิ ธมฺโม สารณีโย ปิยกรโณ ครุกรโณ สงฺคหาย อวิวาทาย สามคฺคิยา เอกีภาวาย สํวตฺตติฯ
Firstly, a bhikkhu consistently treats their spiritual companions with bodily kindness, both in public and in private. This warm-hearted quality makes for fondness and respect, conducing to inclusion, harmony, and unity, without quarreling.
ปุน จปรํ, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขุโน เมตฺตํ วจีกมฺมํ ปจฺจุปฏฺฐิตํ โหติ …เป…ฯ

Furthermore, a bhikkhu consistently treats their spiritual companions with mental kindness …
ปุน จปรํ, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขุ เย เต ลาภา ธมฺมิกา ธมฺมลทฺธา อนฺตมโส ปตฺตปริยาปนฺนมตฺตมฺปิ ตถารูเปหิ ลาเภหิ อปฺปฏิวิภตฺตโภคี โหติ สีลวนฺเตหิ สพฺรหฺมจารีหิ สาธารณโภคี, อยมฺปิ ธมฺโม สารณีโย ปิยกรโณ ครุกรโณ สงฺคหาย อวิวาทาย สามคฺคิยา เอกีภาวาย สํวตฺตติฯ
Furthermore, a bhikkhu shares without reservation any material possessions they have gained by legitimate means, even the food placed in the alms-bowl, using them in common with their ethical spiritual companions. This too is a warm-hearted quality.
ปุน จปรํ, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขุ ยานิ ตานิ สีลานิ อขณฺฑานิ อจฺฉิทฺทานิ อสพลานิ อกมฺมาสานิ ภุชิสฺสานิ วิญฺญุปฺปสตฺถานิ อปรามฏฺฐานิ สมาธิสํวตฺตนิกานิ ตถารูเปหิ สีเลหิ สีลสามญฺญคโต วิหรติ สพฺรหฺมจารีหิ อาวิ เจว รโห จ, อยมฺปิ ธมฺโม สารณีโย ปิยกรโณ ครุกรโณ สงฺคหาย อวิวาทาย สามคฺคิยา เอกีภาวาย สํวตฺตติฯ
Furthermore, a bhikkhu lives according to the precepts shared with their spiritual companions, both in public and in private. Those precepts are unbroken, impeccable, spotless, and unmarred, liberating, praised by sensible people, not mistaken, and leading to samādhi. This too is a warm-hearted quality.
ปุน จปรํ, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขุ ยายํ ทิฏฺฐิ อริยา นิยฺยานิกา นิยฺยาติ ตกฺกรสฺส สมฺมา ทุกฺขกฺขยาย ตถารูปาย ทิฏฺฐิยา ทิฏฺฐิสามญฺญคโต วิหรติ สพฺรหฺมจารีหิ อาวิ เจว รโห จ, อยมฺปิ ธมฺโม สารณีโย ปิยกรโณ ครุกรโณ สงฺคหาย อวิวาทาย สามคฺคิยา เอกีภาวาย สํวตฺตติฯ
Furthermore, a bhikkhu lives according to the view shared with their spiritual companions, both in public and in private. That view is noble and emancipating, and leads one who practices it to the complete ending of suffering. This warm-hearted quality makes for fondness and respect, conducing to inclusion, harmony, and unity, without quarreling.
อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, ฉ ธมฺมา สารณียา ปิยกรณา ครุกรณา สงฺคหาย อวิวาทาย สามคฺคิยา เอกีภาวาย สํวตฺตนฺตี”ติฯ
