Giving Up Desire (2nd)
សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
“រូបេ, ភិក្ខវេ, យោ ឆន្ទោ យោ រាគោ យា នន្ទី យា តណ្ហា យេ ឧបយុបាទានា ចេតសោ អធិដ្ឋានាភិនិវេសានុសយា, តេ បជហថ។ ឯវំ តំ រូបំ បហីនំ ភវិស្សតិ ឧច្ឆិន្នមូលំ …បេ…
“Bhikkhus, you should give up any desire, greed, relishing, and craving for form; and any attraction, grasping, mental fixation, insistence, and underlying tendencies. Thus that form will be given up, cut off at the root, made like a palm stump, obliterated, and unable to arise in the future.
វេទនាយ … សញ្ញាយ … សង្ខារេសុ យោ ឆន្ទោ …បេ… ឯវំ តេ សង្ខារា បហីនា ភវិស្សន្តិ ឧច្ឆិន្នមូលា តាលាវត្ថុកតា អនភាវង្កតា អាយតិំ អនុប្បាទធម្មា។ វិញ្ញាណេ យោ ឆន្ទោ យោ រាគោ យា នន្ទី យា តណ្ហា យេ ឧបយុបាទានា ចេតសោ អធិដ្ឋានាភិនិវេសានុសយា, តេ បជហថ។ ឯវំ តំ វិញ្ញាណំ បហីនំ ភវិស្សតិ ឧច្ឆិន្នមូលំ តាលាវត្ថុកតំ អនភាវង្កតំ អាយតិំ អនុប្បាទធម្មន៑”តិ។
You should give up any desire, greed, relishing, and craving for feeling … perception … functioning patterns … consciousness; and any attraction, grasping, mental fixation, insistence, and underlying tendencies. Thus that consciousness will be given up, cut off at the root, made like a palm stump, obliterated, and unable to arise in the future.”

តស្សុទ្ទានំ
អន្តោ ទុក្ខញ្ច សក្កាយោ, បរិញ្ញេយ្យា សមណា ទុវេ; សោតាបន្នោ អរហា ច, ទុវេ ច ឆន្ទប្បហានាតិ។
