Should Be Completely Understood
សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
“បរិញ្ញេយ្យេ ច, ភិក្ខវេ, ធម្មេ ទេសេស្សាមិ បរិញ្ញញ្ច បរិញ្ញាតាវិញ្ច បុគ្គលំ។ តំ សុណាថ។
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the things that should be completely understood, complete understanding, and the person who has completely understood. Listen …
កតមេ ច, ភិក្ខវេ, បរិញ្ញេយ្យា ធម្មា? រូបំ, ភិក្ខវេ, បរិញ្ញេយ្យោ ធម្មោ។ វេទនា …បេ… សញ្ញា … សង្ខារា … វិញ្ញាណំ បរិញ្ញេយ្យោ ធម្មោ។ ឥមេ វុច្ចន្តិ, ភិក្ខវេ, បរិញ្ញេយ្យា ធម្មា។
And what things should be completely understood? Form, feeling, perception, functioning patterns, and consciousness. These are called the things that should be completely understood.
កតមា ច, ភិក្ខវេ, បរិញ្ញា? រាគក្ខយោ, ទោសក្ខយោ, មោហក្ខយោ—អយំ វុច្ចតិ, ភិក្ខវេ, បរិញ្ញា។
And what is complete understanding? The ending of greed, hate, and delusion. This is called complete understanding.
កតមោ ច, ភិក្ខវេ, បរិញ្ញាតាវី បុគ្គលោ? អរហាតិស្ស វចនីយំ។ យ្វាយំ អាយស្មា ឯវំនាមោ ឯវង្គោត្តោ—អយំ វុច្ចតិ, ភិក្ខវេ, បរិញ្ញាតាវី បុគ្គលោ”តិ។
And what is the person who has completely understood? It should be said: a perfected one, the venerable of such and such name and clan. This is called the person who has completely understood.”
