Dhamma Speakers
“චත්තාරෝමේ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මකථිකා. කතමේ චත්තාරෝ?
“Bhikkhus, there are these four Dhamma speakers. What four?
ඉධ, භික්ඛවේ, ඒකච්චෝ ධම්මකථිකෝ අප්පඤ්ච භාසති අසහිතඤ්ච; පරිසා චස්ස න කුසලා හෝති සහිතාසහිතස්ස. ඒවරූපෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මකථිකෝ ඒවරූපාය පරිසාය ධම්මකථිකෝත්වේව සඞ්ඛං ගච්ඡති.
One Dhamma speaker speaks little and off topic. And their assembly can’t tell what’s on topic and what’s off topic. Such an assembly regards such a Dhamma speaker simply as a Dhamma speaker.
ඉධ පන, භික්ඛවේ, ඒකච්චෝ ධම්මකථිකෝ අප්පඤ්ච භාසති සහිතඤ්ච; පරිසා චස්ස කුසලා හෝති සහිතාසහිතස්ස. ඒවරූපෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මකථිකෝ ඒවරූපාය පරිසාය ධම්මකථිකෝත්වේව සඞ්ඛං ගච්ඡති.
