“තීහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ බාලෝ වේදිතබ්බෝ. කතමේහි තීහි? අකුසලේන කායකම්මේන, අකුසලේන වචීකම්මේන, අකුසලේන මනෝකම්මේන.
“A fool is known by three things. What three? Unskillful deeds by way of body, speech, and mind.
ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, තීහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ බාලෝ වේදිතබ්බෝ.
These are the three things by which a fool is known.
තීහි, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ පණ්ඩිතෝ වේදිතබ්බෝ. කතමේහි තීහි? කුසලේන කායකම්මේන, කුසලේන වචීකම්මේන, කුසලේන මනෝකම්මේන.
An astute person is known by three things. What three? Skillful deeds by way of body, speech, and mind.
