Living Apart
“ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု နာလံ သင်္ဃမှာ ဝပကာသိတုံ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု အသန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန စီဝရေန, အသန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန ပိဏ္ဍပါတေန, အသန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန သေနာသနေန, အသန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန ဂိလာနပ္ပစ္စယဘေသဇ္ဇပရိက္ခာရေန, ကာမသင်္ကပ္ပဗဟုလော စ ဝိဟရတိ၊ ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု နာလံ သင်္ဃမှာ ဝပကာသိတုံ၊
“Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu with five qualities is not fit to live apart from a Saṅgha community. What five? It’s when a bhikkhu is not content with any kind of robe, almsfood, lodging, and medicines and supplies for the sick. And they have a lot of sensual thoughts. A bhikkhu with these five qualities is not fit to live apart from a Saṅgha community.
ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု အလံ သင်္ဃမှာ ဝပကာသိတုံ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု သန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန စီဝရေန, သန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန ပိဏ္ဍပါတေန, သန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန သေနာသနေန, သန္တုဋ္ဌော ဟောတိ ဣတရီတရေန ဂိလာနပ္ပစ္စယဘေသဇ္ဇပရိက္ခာရေန, နေက္ခမ္မသင်္ကပ္ပဗဟုလော စ ဝိဟရတိ၊ ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု အလံ သင်္ဃမှာ ဝပကာသိတုန်”တိ၊
A bhikkhu with five qualities is fit to live apart from a Saṅgha community. What five?
