At Sāvatthī.
“ยํ, ภิกฺขเว, อนิจฺจํ; ตตฺร โว ฉนฺทราโค ปหาตพฺโพฯ กิญฺจ, ภิกฺขเว, อนิจฺจํ?
“Bhikkhus, you should give up desire and greed for what is impermanent. And what is impermanent?
รูปํ, ภิกฺขเว, อนิจฺจํ, ตตฺร โว ฉนฺทราโค ปหาตพฺโพฯ
Form is impermanent; you should give up desire and greed for it.
