Impermanence
สาวตฺถินิทานํฯ
At Sāvatthī.
“ยํ, ภิกฺขเว, อนิจฺจํ; ตตฺร โว ฉนฺโท ปหาตพฺโพฯ
“Bhikkhus, you should give up desire for what is impermanent.
กิญฺจ, ภิกฺขเว, อนิจฺจํ? รูปํ, ภิกฺขเว, อนิจฺจํ; ตตฺร โว ฉนฺโท ปหาตพฺโพฯ
And what is impermanent? Form is impermanent; you should give up desire for it.
