“တိဏ္ဏံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သမ္မုခီဘာဝါ သဒ္ဓေါ ကုလပုတ္တော ဗဟုံ ပုညံ ပသဝတိ၊ ကတမေသံ တိဏ္ဏံ? သဒ္ဓါယ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သမ္မုခီဘာဝါ သဒ္ဓေါ ကုလပုတ္တော ဗဟုံ ပုညံ ပသဝတိ၊ ဒေယျဓမ္မဿ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သမ္မုခီဘာဝါ သဒ္ဓေါ ကုလပုတ္တော ဗဟုံ ပုညံ ပသဝတိ၊ ဒက္ခိဏေယျာနံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သမ္မုခီဘာဝါ သဒ္ဓေါ ကုလပုတ္တော ဗဟုံ ပုညံ ပသဝတိ၊ ဣမေသံ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တိဏ္ဏံ သမ္မုခီဘာဝါ သဒ္ဓေါ ကုလပုတ္တော ဗဟုံ ပုညံ ပသဝတီ”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, when three things are present, a faithful gentleman makes much merit. What three? When faith is present, when a gift to give is present, and when those worthy of a religious donation are present. When these three things are present, a faithful gentleman makes much merit.”
