သာဝတ္ထိယံ ဝိဟရတိ၊
At Sāvatthī.
“ဒါရုဏော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, လာဘသက္ကာရသိလောကော၊
“Possessions, honor, and popularity are brutal …
လာဘသက္ကာရသိလောကော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဆဝိံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, ဆဝိံ ဆေတွာ စမ္မံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, စမ္မံ ဆေတွာ မံသံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, မံသံ ဆေတွာ နှာရုံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, နှာရုံ ဆေတွာ အဋ္ဌိံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, အဋ္ဌိံ ဆေတွာ အဋ္ဌိမိဉ္ဇံ အာဟစ္စ တိဋ္ဌတိ၊
They cut through the outer skin, the inner skin, the flesh, sinews, and bones, until they reach the marrow and stay pressing there.
သေယျထာပိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဗလဝါ ပုရိသော ဒဠှာယ ဝါဠရဇ္ဇုယာ ဇင်္ဃံ ဝေဌေတွာ ဃံသေယျ၊ သာ ဆဝိံ ဆိန္ဒေယျ, ဆဝိံ ဆေတွာ စမ္မံ ဆိန္ဒေယျ, စမ္မံ ဆေတွာ မံသံ ဆိန္ဒေယျ, မံသံ ဆေတွာ နှာရုံ ဆိန္ဒေယျ, နှာရုံ ဆေတွာ အဋ္ဌိံ ဆိန္ဒေယျ, အဋ္ဌိံ ဆေတွာ အဋ္ဌိမိဉ္ဇံ အာဟစ္စ တိဋ္ဌေယျ၊
Suppose a strong man was to twist a tough horse-hair rope around your shin and tighten it. It would cut through the outer skin, the inner skin, the flesh, sinews, and bones, until it reached the marrow and stayed pressing there.
ဧဝမေဝ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, လာဘသက္ကာရသိလောကော ဆဝိံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, ဆဝိံ ဆေတွာ စမ္မံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, စမ္မံ ဆေတွာ မံသံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, မံသံ ဆေတွာ နှာရုံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, နှာရုံ ဆေတွာ အဋ္ဌိံ ဆိန္ဒတိ, အဋ္ဌိံ ဆေတွာ အဋ္ဌိမိဉ္ဇံ အာဟစ္စ တိဋ္ဌတိ၊
