သာဝတ္ထိယံ ဝိဟရတိ၊
At Sāvatthī.
“ဒါရုဏော, ဘိက္ခဝေ, လာဘသက္ကာရသိလောကော …ပေ…
“Possessions, honor, and popularity are brutal …
န တဿ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဇနပဒကလျာဏီ ဧကာ ဧကဿ စိတ္တံ ပရိယာဒါယ တိဋ္ဌတိ ယဿ လာဘသက္ကာရသိလောကော စိတ္တံ ပရိယာဒါယ တိဋ္ဌတိ၊
Even if you’re alone with the finest lady in the land she might not occupy your mind, but possessions, honor and popularity would still occupy your mind.
ဧဝံ ဒါရုဏော ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, လာဘသက္ကာရသိလောကော …ပေ… ဧဝဉှိ ဝေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, သိက္ခိတဗ္ဗန်”တိ၊
So brutal are possessions, honor, and popularity. …”
