Liable To Cease
សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
អាយស្មា រាធោ ភគវន្តំ ឯតទវោច:
Venerable Rādha said to the Buddha:
“សាធុ មេ, ភន្តេ, ភគវា សង្ខិត្តេន ធម្មំ ទេសេតុ, យមហំ ភគវតោ ធម្មំ សុត្វា ឯកោ វូបកដ្ឋោ អប្បមត្តោ អាតាបី បហិតត្តោ វិហរេយ្យន៑”តិ។
“Sir, may the Buddha please teach me Dhamma in brief. When I’ve heard it, I’ll live alone, withdrawn, diligent, keen, and resolute.”
“យោ ខោ, រាធ, និរោធធម្មោ; តត្រ តេ ឆន្ទោ បហាតព្ពោ, រាគោ បហាតព្ពោ, ឆន្ទរាគោ បហាតព្ពោ។ កោ ច, រាធ, និរោធធម្មោ? រូបំ ខោ, រាធ, និរោធធម្មោ; តត្រ តេ ឆន្ទោ បហាតព្ពោ …បេ…
“Rādha, you should give up any desire, any greed, any desire and greed for whatever is liable to cease. And what is liable to cease? Form is liable to cease. You should give up any desire, any greed, any desire and greed for it.
