กุหสุตฺต
Deceivers
“เย เต, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขู กุหา ถทฺธา ลปา สิงฺคี อุนฺนฬา อสมาหิตา, น เม เต, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขู มามกาฯ อปคตา จ เต, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขู อิมสฺมา ธมฺมวินยา, น จ เต อิมสฺมึ ธมฺมวินเย วุทฺธึ วิรุฬฺหึ เวปุลฺลํ อาปชฺชนฺติฯ
“Bhikkhus, those bhikkhus who are deceivers and flatterers, pompous and fake, insolent, and scattered: those bhikkhus are no followers of mine. They’ve left this teaching and training, and they don’t achieve growth, improvement, or maturity in this teaching and training.
เย จ โข เต, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขู นิกฺกุหา นิลฺลปา ธีรา อตฺถทฺธา สุสมาหิตา, เต โข เม, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขู มามกาฯ อนปคตา จ เต, ภิกฺขเว, ภิกฺขู อิมสฺมา ธมฺมวินยาฯ เต จ อิมสฺมึ ธมฺมวินเย วุทฺธึ วิรุฬฺหึ เวปุลฺลํ อาปชฺชนฺตีติฯ
But those bhikkhus who are genuine, not flatterers, wise, amenable, and serene: those bhikkhus are followers of mine. They haven’t left this teaching and training, and they achieve growth, improvement, or maturity in this teaching and training.
กุหา ถทฺธา ลปา สิงฺคี, อุนฺนฬา อสมาหิตา; น เต ธมฺเม วิรูหนฺติ, สมฺมาสมฺพุทฺธเทสิเตฯ
Those who are deceivers and flatterers,
pompous and fake, insolent and scattered: these don’t grow in the teaching that was taught by the perfected Buddha.
นิกฺกุหา นิลฺลปา ธีรา, อตฺถทฺธา สุสมาหิตา; เต เว ธมฺเม วิรูหนฺติ, สมฺมาสมฺพุทฺธเทสิเต”ติฯ
But those who are genuine, not flatterers, wise, amenable, and serene: these do grow in the teaching that was taught by the perfected Buddha.”
