“රාගස්ස, භික්ඛවේ, අභිඤ්ඤාය චත්තාරෝ ධම්මා භාවේතබ්බා. කතමේ චත්තාරෝ? ඉධ, භික්ඛවේ, භික්ඛු ඡන්දසමාධිපධානසඞ්ඛාරසමන්නාගතං ඉද්ධිපාදං භාවේති; වීරියසමාධි …පේ… චිත්තසමාධි …පේ… වීමංසාසමාධිපධානසඞ්ඛාරසමන්නාගතං ඉද්ධිපාදං භාවේති. රාගස්ස, භික්ඛවේ, අභිඤ්ඤාය ඉමේ චත්තාරෝ ධම්මා භාවේතබ්බා”ති.
“For insight into greed, four things should be developed. What four? It’s when a bhikkhu develops the basis of psychic power that has samādhi due to enthusiasm, and active effort. They develop the basis of psychic power that has samādhi due to energy … mental development … inquiry, and active effort. For insight into greed, these four things should be developed.”
