Accomplishment in Rational Application of Mind (2nd)
“ယထယိဒံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ယောနိသောမနသိကာရသမ္ပဒါ၊ ယောနိသောမနသိကာရသမ္ပန္နဿေတံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခုနော ပါဋိကင်္ခံ—အရိယံ အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကံ မဂ္ဂံ ဘာဝေဿတိ, အရိယံ အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကံ မဂ္ဂံ ဗဟုလီကရိဿတိ၊
“… accomplishment in rational application of mind. A bhikkhu accomplished in rational application of mind can expect to develop and cultivate the noble eightfold path.
ကထဉ္စ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု ယောနိသောမနသိကာရသမ္ပန္နော အရိယံ အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကံ မဂ္ဂံ ဘာဝေတိ, အရိယံ အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကံ မဂ္ဂံ ဗဟုလီကရောတိ? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု သမ္မာဒိဋ္ဌိံ ဘာဝေတိ ရာဂဝိနယပရိယောသာနံ ဒေါသဝိနယပရိယောသာနံ မောဟဝိနယပရိယောသာနံ …ပေ… သမ္မာသမာဓိံ ဘာဝေတိ ရာဂဝိနယပရိယောသာနံ ဒေါသဝိနယပရိယောသာနံ မောဟဝိနယပရိယောသာနံ၊ ဧဝံ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု ယောနိသောမနသိကာရသမ္ပန္နော အရိယံ အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကံ မဂ္ဂံ ဘာဝေတိ, အရိယံ အဋ္ဌင်္ဂိကံ မဂ္ဂံ ဗဟုလီကရောတီ”တိ၊
And how does a bhikkhu accomplished in rational application of mind develop and cultivate the noble eightfold path? It’s when a bhikkhu develops right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samādhi, which culminate in the removal of greed, hate, and delusion. That’s how a bhikkhu accomplished in rational application of mind develops and cultivates the noble eightfold path.”
