The Exterior as Not-Self
“රූපා, භික්ඛවේ, අනත්තා. සද්දා … ගන්ධා … රසා … ඵෝට්ඨබ්බා … ධම්මා අනත්තා.
“Bhikkhus, sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touches, and thoughts are not-self.
ඒවං පස්සං …පේ… නාපරං ඉත්ථත්තායාති පජානාතී”ති.
Seeing this … They understand: ‘… there is no return to any state of existence.’”
සට්ඨිපේය්යාලෝ සමත්තෝ.
තස්සුද්දානං
ඡන්දේනට්ඨාරස හෝන්ති, අතීතේන ච ද්වේ නව; යදනිච්චාට්ඨාරස වුත්තා, තයෝ අජ්ඣත්තබාහිරා; පේය්යාලෝ සට්ඨිකෝ වුත්තෝ, බුද්ධේනාදිච්චබන්ධුනාති.
