“បញ្ចិមេ, ភិក្ខវេ, អាវរណា នីវរណា ចេតសោ ឧបក្កិលេសា បញ្ញាយ ទុព្ពលីករណា។ កតមេ បញ្ច? កាមច្ឆន្ទោ, ភិក្ខវេ, អាវរណោ នីវរណោ ចេតសោ ឧបក្កិលេសោ បញ្ញាយ ទុព្ពលីករណោ។ ព្យាបាទោ, ភិក្ខវេ, អាវរណោ នីវរណោ ចេតសោ ឧបក្កិលេសោ បញ្ញាយ ទុព្ពលីករណោ។ ថិនមិទ្ធំ, ភិក្ខវេ, អាវរណំ នីវរណំ ចេតសោ ឧបក្កិលេសំ បញ្ញាយ ទុព្ពលីករណំ។ ឧទ្ធច្ចកុក្កុច្ចំ, ភិក្ខវេ, អាវរណំ នីវរណំ ចេតសោ ឧបក្កិលេសំ បញ្ញាយ ទុព្ពលីករណំ។ វិចិកិច្ឆា, ភិក្ខវេ, អាវរណា នីវរណា ចេតសោ ឧបក្កិលេសា បញ្ញាយ ទុព្ពលីករណា។ ឥមេ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ច អាវរណា នីវរណា ចេតសោ ឧបក្កិលេសា បញ្ញាយ ទុព្ពលីករណា។
“Bhikkhus, there are these five obstacles and hindrances, corruptions of the heart that weaken wisdom. What five? Sensual desire, ill will, dullness and drowsiness, restlessness and remorse, and doubt. These are the five obstacles and hindrances, corruptions of the heart that weaken wisdom.
សត្តិមេ, ភិក្ខវេ, ពោជ្ឈង្គា អនាវរណា អនីវរណា ចេតសោ អនុបក្កិលេសា ភាវិតា ពហុលីកតា វិជ្ជាវិមុត្តិផលសច្ឆិកិរិយាយ សំវត្តន្តិ។ កតមេ សត្ត? សតិសម្ពោជ្ឈង្គោ, ភិក្ខវេ, អនាវរណោ អនីវរណោ ចេតសោ អនុបក្កិលេសោ ភាវិតោ ពហុលីកតោ វិជ្ជាវិមុត្តិផលសច្ឆិកិរិយាយ សំវត្តតិ …បេ… ឧបេក្ខាសម្ពោជ្ឈង្គោ, ភិក្ខវេ, អនាវរណោ អនីវរណោ ចេតសោ អនុបក្កិលេសោ ភាវិតោ ពហុលីកតោ វិជ្ជាវិមុត្តិផលសច្ឆិកិរិយាយ សំវត្តតិ។ ឥមេ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, សត្ត ពោជ្ឈង្គា អនាវរណា អនីវរណា ចេតសោ អនុបក្កិលេសា ភាវិតា ពហុលីកតា វិជ្ជាវិមុត្តិផលសច្ឆិកិរិយាយ សំវត្តន្តីតិ។
There are these seven awakening factors that are not obstacles, hindrances, or corruptions of the mind. When developed and cultivated they lead to the realization of the fruit of knowledge and freedom. What seven? The awakening factors of mindfulness, investigation of principles, energy, (mental) joy, tranquility, samādhi, and equanimity. These seven awakening factors are not obstacles, hindrances, or corruptions of the mind. When developed and cultivated they lead to the realization of the fruit of knowledge and freedom.”
