បាដលិបុត្តនិទានំ។
At Pāṭaliputta.
“‘ព្រហ្មចរិយំ, ព្រហ្មចរិយន៑ៜតិ, អាវុសោ អានន្ទ, វុច្ចតិ។ កតមំ នុ ខោ, អាវុសោ, ព្រហ្មចរិយំ, កតមោ ព្រហ្មចារី, កតមំ ព្រហ្មចរិយបរិយោសានន៑”តិ?
“Friend, they speak of this thing called the ‘spiritual path’. What is the spiritual path? Who is someone on the spiritual path? And what is the culmination of the spiritual path?”
“សាធុ សាធុ, អាវុសោ ភទ្ទ។ ភទ្ទកោ ខោ តេ, អាវុសោ ភទ្ទ, ឧម្មង្គោ, ភទ្ទកំ បដិភានំ, កល្យាណី បរិបុច្ឆា។ ឯវញ្ហិ ត្វំ, អាវុសោ ភទ្ទ, បុច្ឆសិ: ‘ព្រហ្មចរិយំ, ព្រហ្មចរិយន្តិ, អាវុសោ អានន្ទ, វុច្ចតិ។ កតមំ នុ ខោ, អាវុសោ, ព្រហ្មចរិយំ, កតមោ ព្រហ្មចារី, កតមំ ព្រហ្មចរិយបរិយោសានន៑ៜ”តិ? “ឯវមាវុសោ”តិ។
“Good, good, Friend Bhadda! Your approach and articulation are excellent, and it’s a good question. …
“អយមេវ ខោ, អាវុសោ, អរិយោ អដ្ឋង្គិកោ មគ្គោ ព្រហ្មចរិយំ, សេយ្យថិទំ—សម្មាទិដ្ឋិ …បេ… សម្មាសមាធិ។
The spiritual path is simply this noble eightfold path, that is: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samādhi.
យោ ខោ, អាវុសោ, ឥមិនា អរិយេន អដ្ឋង្គិកេន មគ្គេន សមន្នាគតោ—អយំ វុច្ចតិ ព្រហ្មចារី។
Someone who possesses this noble eightfold path is called someone on the spiritual path.
យោ ខោ, អាវុសោ, រាគក្ខយោ ទោសក្ខយោ មោហក្ខយោ—ឥទំ ព្រហ្មចរិយបរិយោសានន៑”តិ។
The ending of greed, hate, and delusion: this is the culmination of the spiritual path.”

តីណិ សុត្តន្តានិ ឯកនិទានានិ។
វិហារវគ្គោ ទុតិយោ។

ទ្វេ វិហារា ច សេក្ខោ ច, ឧប្បាទា អបរេ ទុវេ; បរិសុទ្ធេន ទ្វេ វុត្តា, កុក្កុដារាមេន តយោតិ។
