සප්පුරිසධම්මසුත්ත
The Teaching of the Good Persons
“සප්පුරිසධම්මඤ්ච වෝ, භික්ඛවේ, දේසේස්සාමි අසප්පුරිසධම්මඤ්ච. තං සුණාථ …පේ… කතමෝ ච, භික්ඛවේ, අසප්පුරිසධම්මෝ? පාණාතිපාතෝ …පේ… මිච්ඡාදිට්ඨි—අයං වුච්චති, භික්ඛවේ, අසප්පුරිසධම්මෝ.
“Bhikkhus, I will teach you the teaching of the good persons and the teaching of the bad persons. And what is the teaching of the bad persons? Killing living creatures … wrong view. This is the teaching of the bad persons.
කතමෝ ච, භික්ඛවේ, සප්පුරිසධම්මෝ? පාණාතිපාතා වේරමණී …පේ… සම්මාදිට්ඨි—අයං වුච්චති, භික්ඛවේ, සප්පුරිසධම්මෝ”ති.
And what is the teaching of the good persons? Not killing living creatures … right view. This is the teaching of the good persons.”
