“រាគស្ស, ភិក្ខវេ, អភិញ្ញាយ ចត្តារោ ធម្មា ភាវេតព្ពា។ កតមេ ចត្តារោ? ឥធ, ភិក្ខវេ, ភិក្ខុ អនុប្បន្នានំ បាបកានំ អកុសលានំ ធម្មានំ អនុប្បាទាយ ឆន្ទំ ជនេតិ វាយមតិ វីរិយំ អារភតិ ចិត្តំ បគ្គណ្ហាតិ បទហតិ; ឧប្បន្នានំ បាបកានំ អកុសលានំ ធម្មានំ បហានាយ …បេ… អនុប្បន្នានំ កុសលានំ ធម្មានំ ឧប្បាទាយ …បេ… ឧប្បន្នានំ កុសលានំ ធម្មានំ ឋិតិយា អសម្មោសាយ ភិយ្យោភាវាយ វេបុល្លាយ ភាវនាយ បារិបូរិយា ឆន្ទំ ជនេតិ វាយមតិ វីរិយំ អារភតិ ចិត្តំ បគ្គណ្ហាតិ បទហតិ។ រាគស្ស, ភិក្ខវេ, អភិញ្ញាយ ឥមេ ចត្តារោ ធម្មា ភាវេតព្ពា”តិ។
“For insight into greed, four things should be developed. What four? Firstly, a bhikkhu generates enthusiasm, tries, makes an effort, exerts the mind, and strives so that bad, unskillful qualities don’t arise. …so that unskillful qualities that have arisen are given up … so that skillful qualities arise … so that skillful qualities that have arisen remain, are not lost, but increase, mature, and are fulfilled by development. For insight into greed, these four things should be developed.”
