Disillusionment

“စတ္တာရောမေ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဣဒ္ဓိပါဒါ ဘာဝိတာ ဗဟုလီကတာ ဧကန္တနိဗ္ဗိဒါယ ဝိရာဂါယ နိရောဓာယ ဥပသမာယ အဘိညာယ သမ္ဗောဓာယ နိဗ္ဗာနာယ သံဝတ္တန္တိ၊ ကတမေ စတ္တာရော? ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု ဆန္ဒသမာဓိပ္ပဓာနသင်္ခါရသမန္နာဂတံ ဣဒ္ဓိပါဒံ ဘာဝေတိ, ဝီရိယသမာဓိ …ပေ… စိတ္တသမာဓိ …ပေ… ဝီမံသာသမာဓိပ္ပဓာနသင်္ခါရသမန္နာဂတံ ဣဒ္ဓိပါဒံ ဘာဝေတိ၊ ဣမေ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, စတ္တာရော ဣဒ္ဓိပါဒါ ဘာဝိတာ ဗဟုလီကတာ ဧကန္တနိဗ္ဗိဒါယ ဝိရာဂါယ နိရောဓာယ ဥပသမာယ အဘိညာယ သမ္ဗောဓာယ နိဗ္ဗာနာယ သံဝတ္တန္တီ”တိ၊

“Bhikkhus, these four bases of psychic power, when developed and cultivated, lead solely to disillusionment, dispassion, cessation, peace, insight, awakening, and Nibbana. What four? It’s when a bhikkhu develops the basis of psychic power that has samādhi due to enthusiasm … energy … mental development … inquiry, and active effort. These four bases of psychic power, when developed and cultivated, lead solely to disillusionment, dispassion, cessation, peace, insight, awakening, and Nibbana.”
