สาวตฺถิยํ วิหรติฯ
At Sāvatthī.
“อนมตคฺโคยํ, ภิกฺขเว, สํสาโร …เป… น โส, ภิกฺขเว, สตฺโต สุลภรูโป โย นมาตาภูตปุพฺโพ อิมินา ทีเฆน อทฺธุนาฯ
“Bhikkhus, transmigration has no known beginning. … It’s not easy to find a sentient being who in all this long time has not previously been your mother.
ตํ กิสฺส เหตุ? อนมตคฺโคยํ, ภิกฺขเว, สํสาโร …เป… อลํ วิมุจฺจิตุนฺ”ติฯ
Why is that? Transmigration has no known beginning. … This is quite enough for you to become disillusioned, dispassionate, and freed regarding all conditions.”
