Eons
“ចត្តារិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, កប្បស្ស អសង្ខ្យេយ្យានិ។ កតមានិ ចត្តារិ?
“Bhikkhus, an eon contains four uncountable periods. What four?
យទា, ភិក្ខវេ, កប្បោ សំវដ្ដតិ, តំ ន សុករំ សង្ខាតុំ—ឯត្តកានិ វស្សានីតិ វា, ឯត្តកានិ វស្សសតានីតិ វា, ឯត្តកានិ វស្សសហស្សានីតិ វា, ឯត្តកានិ វស្សសតសហស្សានីតិ វា។
When an eon contracts, it’s not easy to calculate how many years, how many hundreds or thousands or hundreds of thousands of years it takes.
យទា, ភិក្ខវេ, កប្បោ សំវដ្ដោ តិដ្ឋតិ, តំ ន សុករំ សង្ខាតុំ—ឯត្តកានិ វស្សានីតិ វា, ឯត្តកានិ វស្សសតានីតិ វា, ឯត្តកានិ វស្សសហស្សានីតិ វា, ឯត្តកានិ វស្សសតសហស្សានីតិ វា។
