दिब्बसोतसुत्त

Dibbasotasutta

Clairaudience

“इमेसञ्च पनाहं, आवुसो, चतुन्नं सतिपट्ठानानं भावितत्ता बहुलीकतत्ता दिब्बाय सोतधातुया विसुद्धाय अतिक्कन्तमानुसिकाय उभो सद्दे सुणामि दिब्बे च मानुसे च ये दूरे सन्तिके चा”ति।

“Imesañca panāhaṁ, āvuso, catunnaṁ satipaṭṭhānānaṁ bhāvitattā bahulīkatattā dibbāya sotadhātuyā visuddhāya atikkantamānusikāya ubho sadde suṇāmi dibbe ca mānuse ca ye dūre santike cā”ti.

“… And it’s because of developing and cultivating these four kinds of mindfulness meditation that, with clairaudience that is purified and superhuman, I hear both kinds of sounds, human and divine, whether near or far.”
