අත්තානුදිට්ඨිපහානසුත්ත
Giving Up View of Self
අථ ඛෝ අඤ්ඤතරෝ භික්ඛු …පේ… ඒතදවෝච:
Then a bhikkhu went up to the Buddha … and said to him:
“කථං නු ඛෝ, භන්තේ, ජානතෝ කථං පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයතී”ති?
“Sir, how does one know and see so that view of self is given up?”
“චක්ඛුං ඛෝ, භික්ඛු, අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයති. රූපේ අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයති. චක්ඛුවිඤ්ඤාණං අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයති. චක්ඛුසම්ඵස්සං අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයති. යම්පිදං චක්ඛුසම්ඵස්සපච්චයා උප්පජ්ජති වේදයිතං සුඛං වා දුක්ඛං වා අදුක්ඛමසුඛං වා තම්පි අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයති …පේ… ජිව්හං අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයති …පේ…
“Bhikkhu, knowing and seeing the eye, sights, eye consciousness, and eye contact as not-self, view of self is given up. …
මනං අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයති. ධම්මේ … මනෝවිඤ්ඤාණං … මනෝසම්ඵස්සං … යම්පිදං මනෝසම්ඵස්සපච්චයා උප්පජ්ජති වේදයිතං සුඛං වා දුක්ඛං වා අදුක්ඛමසුඛං වා තම්පි අනත්තතෝ ජානතෝ පස්සතෝ අත්තානුදිට්ඨි පහීයතී”ති.
And also knowing and seeing the pleasant, painful, or neutral feeling that arises conditioned by mind contact as not-self, view of self is given up.”

නන්දික්ඛයවග්ගෝ පඨමෝ.
තස්සුද්දානං
නන්දික්ඛයේන චත්තාරෝ, ජීවකම්බවනේ දුවේ; කෝට්ඨිකේන තයෝ වුත්තා, මිච්ඡා සක්කාය අත්තනෝති.
