Delightful
សាវត្ថិយំ ជេតវនេ។
Near Sāvatthī in Jeta’s Grove.
អថ ខោ សក្កោ ទេវានមិន្ទោ យេន ភគវា តេនុបសង្កមិ; ឧបសង្កមិត្វា ភគវន្តំ អភិវាទេត្វា ឯកមន្តំ អដ្ឋាសិ។ ឯកមន្តំ ឋិតោ ខោ សក្កោ ទេវានមិន្ទោ ភគវន្តំ ឯតទវោច: “កិំ នុ ខោ, ភន្តេ, ភូមិរាមណេយ្យកន៑”តិ?
And then Sakka, lord of gods, went up to the Buddha, bowed, stood to one side, and said to him, “Sir, what is a delightful place?”
“អារាមចេត្យា វនចេត្យា, បោក្ខរញ្ញោ សុនិម្មិតា; មនុស្សរាមណេយ្យស្ស, កលំ នាគ្ឃន្តិ សោឡសិំ។
“Shrines in parks and forests, well-made lotus ponds, are not worth a sixteenth part of a delightful human being.
គាមេ វា យទិ វារញ្ញេ, និន្នេ វា យទិ វា ថលេ; យត្ថ អរហន្តោ វិហរន្តិ, តំ ភូមិរាមណេយ្យកន៑”តិ។
Whether in village or wilderness, in a valley or the uplands, wherever the perfected ones live is a delightful place.”
