“មារសេនប្បមទ្ទនំ វោ, ភិក្ខវេ, មគ្គំ ទេសេស្សាមិ; តំ សុណាថ។

កតមោ ច, ភិក្ខវេ, មារសេនប្បមទ្ទនោ មគ្គោ? យទិទំ—សត្ត ពោជ្ឈង្គា។ កតមេ សត្ត? សតិសម្ពោជ្ឈង្គោ …បេ… ឧបេក្ខាសម្ពោជ្ឈង្គោ—អយំ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, មារសេនប្បមទ្ទនោ មគ្គោ”តិ។
And what is that path? It is the seven awakening factors. What seven? The awakening factors of mindfulness, investigation of principles, energy, (mental) joy, tranquility, samādhi, and equanimity. This is the path for crushing Māra’s army.”
