សាវត្ថិនិទានំ។
At Sāvatthī.
ឯកមន្តំ និសិន្នោ ខោ រាជា បសេនទិ កោសលោ ភគវន្តំ ឯតទវោច: “កតិ នុ ខោ, ភន្តេ, លោកស្ស ធម្មា ឧប្បជ្ជមានា ឧប្បជ្ជន្តិ អហិតាយ ទុក្ខាយ អផាសុវិហារាយា”តិ?
Seated to one side, King Pasenadi said to the Buddha, “Sir, how many things arise in the world for its harm, suffering, and discomfort?”
“តយោ ខោ, មហារាជ, លោកស្ស ធម្មា ឧប្បជ្ជមានា ឧប្បជ្ជន្តិ អហិតាយ ទុក្ខាយ អផាសុវិហារាយ។ កតមេ តយោ? លោភោ ខោ, មហារាជ, លោកស្ស ធម្មោ, ឧប្បជ្ជមានោ ឧប្បជ្ជតិ អហិតាយ ទុក្ខាយ អផាសុវិហារាយ។ ទោសោ ខោ, មហារាជ, លោកស្ស ធម្មោ, ឧប្បជ្ជមានោ ឧប្បជ្ជតិ អហិតាយ ទុក្ខាយ អផាសុវិហារាយ។ មោហោ ខោ, មហារាជ, លោកស្ស ធម្មោ, ឧប្បជ្ជមានោ ឧប្បជ្ជតិ អហិតាយ ទុក្ខាយ អផាសុវិហារាយ។ ឥមេ ខោ, មហារាជ, តយោ លោកស្ស ធម្មា ឧប្បជ្ជមានា ឧប្បជ្ជន្តិ អហិតាយ ទុក្ខាយ អផាសុវិហារាយា”តិ។
“Great king, three things arise in the world for its harm, suffering, and discomfort. What three? Greed, hate, and delusion. These three things arise in the world for its harm, suffering, and discomfort.”

That is what the Buddha said. …
“លោភោ ទោសោ ច មោហោ ច, បុរិសំ បាបចេតសំ; ហិំសន្តិ អត្តសម្ភូតា, តចសារំវ សម្ផលន៑”តិ។
“When greed, hate, and delusion, have arisen inside oneself, they harm a person of wicked heart, as a reed is destroyed by its own fruit.”
