Bad Conduct
“चत्तारिमानि, भिक्खवे, वचीदुच्चरितानि। कतमानि चत्तारि? मुसावादो, पिसुणा वाचा, फरुसा वाचा, सम्फप्पलापो—इमानि खो, भिक्खवे, चत्तारि वचीदुच्चरितानी”ति।
“Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, vacīduccaritāni. Katamāni cattāri? Musāvādo, pisuṇā vācā, pharusā vācā, samphappalāpo—Imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri vacīduccaritānī”ti.
“Bhikkhus, there are these four kinds of bad conduct by way of speech. What four? Speech that’s false, divisive, harsh, or nonsensical. These are the four kinds of bad conduct by way of speech.”
