Paṭhamakālasutta

“चत्तारोमे, भिक्खवे, काला। कतमे चत्तारो? कालेन धम्मस्सवनं, कालेन धम्मसाकच्छा, कालेन सम्मसना, कालेन विपस्सना—इमे खो, भिक्खवे, चत्तारो काला”ति।
“Cattārome, bhikkhave, kālā. Katame cattāro? Kālena dhammassavanaṁ, kālena dhammasākacchā, kālena sammasanā, kālena vipassanā—Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro kālā”ti.
“Bhikkhus, there are these four times. What four? A time for listening to the teaching, a time for discussing the teaching, a time for serenity, and a time for discernment. These are the four times.”
