“အစ္ဆရာသင်္ဃာတမတ္တမ္ပိ စေ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု ပဌမံ ဈာနံ ဘာဝေတိ, အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ: ‘ဘိက္ခု အရိတ္တဇ္ဈာနော ဝိဟရတိ, သတ္ထုသာသနကရော ဩဝါဒပတိကရော, အမောဃံ ရဋ္ဌပိဏ္ဍံ ဘုဉ္ဇတိ'၊ ကော ပန ဝါဒေါ ယေ နံ ဗဟုလီကရောန္တီ”တိ၊

“If, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu develops the first jhāna, even as long as a finger-snap, they are called a bhikkhu who does not lack jhāna, who follows the Teacher’s instructions, who responds to advice, and who does not eat the country’s alms in vain. How much more so those who make much of it!”
