Desire, Etc. for the Not-Self Interior
“यो, भिक्खवे, अनत्ता, तत्र वो छन्दो पहातब्बो, रागो पहातब्बो, छन्दरागो पहातब्बो। को च, भिक्खवे, अनत्ता?
“Yo, bhikkhave, anattā, tatra vo chando pahātabbo, rāgo pahātabbo, chandarāgo pahātabbo. Ko ca, bhikkhave, anattā?
“Bhikkhus, you should give up desire … greed … desire and greed for what is not-self. And what is not-self?
चक्खु, भिक्खवे, अनत्ता; तत्र वो छन्दो पहातब्बो, रागो पहातब्बो, छन्दरागो पहातब्बो …पे… जिव्हा अनत्ता; तत्र वो छन्दो पहातब्बो, रागो पहातब्बो, छन्दरागो पहातब्बो …पे… मनो अनत्ता; तत्र वो छन्दो पहातब्बो, रागो पहातब्बो, छन्दरागो पहातब्बो। यो, भिक्खवे, अनत्ता तत्र वो छन्दो पहातब्बो, रागो पहातब्बो, छन्दरागो पहातब्बो”ति।
Cakkhu, bhikkhave, anattā; tatra vo chando pahātabbo, rāgo pahātabbo, chandarāgo pahātabbo …pe… jivhā anattā; tatra vo chando pahātabbo, rāgo pahātabbo, chandarāgo pahātabbo …pe… mano anattā; tatra vo chando pahātabbo, rāgo pahātabbo, chandarāgo pahātabbo. Yo, bhikkhave, anattā tatra vo chando pahātabbo, rāgo pahātabbo, chandarāgo pahātabbo”ti.
