Ajjhattaaniccarāgasutta

Greed for the Impermanent Interior

“यं, भिक्खवे, अनिच्चं, तत्र वो रागो पहातब्बो। किञ्च, भिक्खवे, अनिच्चं?

“Yaṁ, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ, tatra vo rāgo pahātabbo. Kiñca, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ?

“Bhikkhus, you should give up greed for what is impermanent. And what is impermanent?

चक्खु, भिक्खवे, अनिच्चं; तत्र वो रागो पहातब्बो …पे… जिव्हा अनिच्चा; तत्र वो रागो पहातब्बो …पे… मनो अनिच्चो; तत्र वो रागो पहातब्बो। यं, भिक्खवे, अनिच्चं, तत्र वो रागो पहातब्बो”ति।

Cakkhu, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ; tatra vo rāgo pahātabbo …pe… jivhā aniccā; tatra vo rāgo pahātabbo …pe… mano anicco; tatra vo rāgo pahātabbo. Yaṁ, bhikkhave, aniccaṁ, tatra vo rāgo pahātabbo”ti.

The eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are impermanent …”
