“យំ, ភិក្ខវេ, ន តុម្ហាកំ, តំ បជហថ។ តំ វោ បហីនំ ហិតាយ សុខាយ ភវិស្សតិ។ កិញ្ច, ភិក្ខវេ, ន តុម្ហាកំ? រូបា, ភិក្ខវេ, ន តុម្ហាកំ; តេ បជហថ។ តេ វោ បហីនា ហិតាយ សុខាយ ភវិស្សន្តិ។
“Bhikkhus, give up what’s not yours. Giving it up will be for your welfare and happiness. And what isn’t yours? Sights aren’t yours: give them up. Giving them up will be for your welfare and happiness.
សទ្ទា … គន្ធា … រសា … ផោដ្ឋព្ពា … ធម្មា ន តុម្ហាកំ; តេ បជហថ។ តេ វោ បហីនា ហិតាយ សុខាយ ភវិស្សន្តិ។
Sounds, smells, tastes, touches, and thoughts aren’t yours: give them up. Giving them up will be for your welfare and happiness.

Suppose a person was to carry off the grass, sticks, branches, and leaves in this Jeta’s Grove …
