“បញ្ចិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥន្ទ្រិយានិ ភាវិតានិ ពហុលីកតានិ អនុសយសមុគ្ឃាតាយ សំវត្តន្តិ។ កតមានិ បញ្ច? សទ្ធិន្ទ្រិយំ …បេ… បញ្ញិន្ទ្រិយំ—ឥមានិ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ចិន្ទ្រិយានិ ភាវិតានិ ពហុលីកតានិ អនុសយសមុគ្ឃាតាយ សំវត្តន្តី”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, when these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to uprooting the underlying tendencies. What five? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom. When these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to uprooting the underlying tendencies.”
