សាវត្ថិយំ … អារាមេ។
At Sāvatthī.
អថ ខោ អាយស្មា អានន្ទោ យេន ភគវា តេនុបសង្កមិ; ឧបសង្កមិត្វា ភគវន្តំ អភិវាទេត្វា ឯកមន្តំ និសីទិ។ ឯកមន្តំ និសិន្នោ ខោ អាយស្មា អានន្ទោ ភគវន្តំ ឯតទវោច:
Then Venerable Ānanda went up to the Buddha, bowed, sat down to one side, and said to the Buddha:
“‘និរោធោ និរោធោៜតិ, ភន្តេ, វុច្ចតិ។ កតមេសានំ ខោ, ភន្តេ, ធម្មានំ និរោធោ ‘និរោធោៜតិ វុច្ចតី”តិ?
“Sir, they speak of ‘cessation’. The cessation of what things does this refer to?”
“រូបំ ខោ, អានន្ទ, អនិច្ចំ សង្ខតំ បដិច្ចសមុប្បន្នំ ខយធម្មំ វយធម្មំ វិរាគធម្មំ និរោធធម្មំ។ តស្ស និរោធោ ‘និរោធោៜតិ វុច្ចតិ។
“Ānanda, form is impermanent, conditioned, dependently originated, liable to end, vanish, fade away, and cease. Its cessation is what ‘cessation’ refers to.
វេទនា អនិច្ចា សង្ខតា បដិច្ចសមុប្បន្នា ខយធម្មា វយធម្មា វិរាគធម្មា និរោធធម្មា។ តស្សា និរោធោ ‘និរោធោៜតិ វុច្ចតិ។

វិញ្ញាណំ អនិច្ចំ សង្ខតំ បដិច្ចសមុប្បន្នំ ខយធម្មំ វយធម្មំ វិរាគធម្មំ និរោធធម្មំ។ តស្ស និរោធោ ‘និរោធោៜតិ វុច្ចតិ។
Consciousness is impermanent, conditioned, dependently originated, liable to end, vanish, fade away, and cease. Its cessation is what ‘cessation’ refers to.
ឥមេសំ ខោ, អានន្ទ, ធម្មានំ និរោធោ ‘និរោធោៜតិ វុច្ចតី”តិ។
When they speak of ‘cessation’, its the cessation of these things that this refers to.”
