“ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพาฯ กตเม สตฺต? สติสมฺโพชฺฌงฺโค …เป… อุเปกฺขาสมฺโพชฺฌงฺโค—ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย อิเม สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพา”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, for insight into greed, seven things should be developed. What seven? The awakening factor of mindfulness … the awakening factor of equanimity. These seven things should be developed for insight into greed.”
“ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพาฯ กตเม สตฺต? อนิจฺจสญฺญา, อนตฺตสญฺญา, อสุภสญฺญา, อาทีนวสญฺญา, ปหานสญฺญา, วิราคสญฺญา, นิโรธสญฺญา—ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย อิเม สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพา”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, for insight into greed, seven things should be developed. What seven? The perception of impermanence, the perception of not-self, the perception of ugliness, the perception of drawbacks, the perception of giving up, the perception of fading away, and the perception of cessation. These seven things should be developed for insight into greed.”
“ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพาฯ กตเม สตฺต? อสุภสญฺญา, มรณสญฺญา, อาหาเร ปฏิกูลสญฺญา, สพฺพโลเก อนภิรตสญฺญา, อนิจฺจสญฺญา, อนิจฺเจ ทุกฺขสญฺญา, ทุกฺเข อนตฺตสญฺญา—ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, อภิญฺญาย อิเม สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพา”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, for insight into greed, seven things should be developed. What seven? The perceptions of ugliness, death, repulsiveness of food, dissatisfaction with the whole world, impermanence, suffering in impermanence, and not-self in suffering. These seven things should be developed for insight into greed.”
“ราคสฺส, ภิกฺขเว, ปริญฺญาย …เป… ปริกฺขยาย … ปหานาย … ขยาย … วยาย … วิราคาย … นิโรธาย … จาคาย …เป… ปฏินิสฺสคฺคาย อิเม สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพา”ติฯ
“For the complete understanding of greed … complete ending … giving up … ending … vanishing … fading away … cessation … giving away … For the letting go of greed, these seven things should be developed.”
“โทสสฺส …เป… โมหสฺส … โกธสฺส … อุปนาหสฺส … มกฺขสฺส … ปฬาสสฺส … อิสฺสาย … มจฺฉริยสฺส … มายาย … สาเฐยฺยสฺส … ถมฺภสฺส … สารมฺภสฺส … มานสฺส … อติมานสฺส … มทสฺส … ปมาทสฺส อภิญฺญาย …เป… ปริญฺญาย … ปริกฺขยาย … ปหานาย … ขยาย … วยาย … วิราคาย … นิโรธาย … จาคาย … ปฏินิสฺสคฺคาย …เป… อิเม สตฺต ธมฺมา ภาเวตพฺพา”ติฯ
“Of hate … delusion … anger … hostility … disdain … contempt … jealousy … stinginess … deceitfulness … deviousness … obstinacy … aggression … conceit … arrogance … vanity … for insight into negligence … complete understanding … complete ending … giving up … ending … vanishing … fading away … cessation … giving away … letting go of negligence these seven things should be developed.”
อิทมโวจ ภควาฯ อตฺตมนา เต ภิกฺขู ภควโต ภาสิตํ อภินนฺทุนฺติฯ
That is what the Buddha said. Satisfied, the bhikkhus approved what the Buddha said.
ราคเปยฺยาลํ นิฏฺฐิตํฯ
สตฺตกนิปาตปาฬิ นิฏฺฐิตาฯ
