A Roof Peak
ឯវំ មេ សុតំ—ឯកំ សមយំ ភគវា សាវត្ថិយំ វិហរតិ ជេតវនេ អនាថបិណ្ឌិកស្ស អារាមេ។
So I have heard. At one time the Buddha was staying near Sāvatthī in Jeta’s Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika’s monastery.
តត្រ ខោ ភគវា …បេ… ឯតទវោច:
There the Buddha … said:
“សេយ្យថាបិ, ភិក្ខវេ, កូដាគារស្ស យា កាចិ គោបានសិយោ សព្ពា តា កូដង្គមា កូដសមោសរណា កូដសមុគ្ឃាតា សព្ពា តា សមុគ្ឃាតំ គច្ឆន្តិ; ឯវមេវ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, យេ កេចិ អកុសលា ធម្មា សព្ពេ តេ អវិជ្ជាមូលកា អវិជ្ជាសមោសរណា អវិជ្ជាសមុគ្ឃាតា, សព្ពេ តេ សមុគ្ឃាតំ គច្ឆន្តិ។
“Bhikkhus, the rafters of a bungalow all lean to the peak and meet at the peak, and when the peak is demolished they’re all demolished too. In the same way any unskillful qualities are rooted in ignorance and meet in ignorance, and when ignorance is demolished they’re all demolished too.
តស្មាតិហ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឯវំ សិក្ខិតព្ពំ: ‘អប្បមត្តា វិហរិស្សាមាៜតិ។ ឯវញ្ហិ វោ, ភិក្ខវេ, សិក្ខិតព្ពន៑”តិ។
So you should train like this: ‘We will stay diligent.’ That’s how you should train.”
