อนาคามิผลสุตฺต
The Fruit of Non-Return
“ฉ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเม อปฺปหาย อภพฺโพ อนาคามิผลํ สจฺฉิกาตุํฯ กตเม ฉ? อสฺสทฺธิยํ, อหิริกํ, อโนตฺตปฺปํ, โกสชฺชํ, มุฏฺฐสฺสจฺจํ, ทุปฺปญฺญตํ—อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, ฉ ธมฺเม อปฺปหาย อภพฺโพ อนาคามิผลํ สจฺฉิกาตุํฯ
“Bhikkhus, without giving up six things you can’t realize the fruit of non-return. What six? Lack of faith, conscience, and prudence; laziness, unmindfulness, and witlessness. Without giving up these six things you can’t realize the fruit of non-return.
ฉ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเม ปหาย ภพฺโพ อนาคามิผลํ สจฺฉิกาตุํฯ กตเม ฉ? อสฺสทฺธิยํ, อหิริกํ, อโนตฺตปฺปํ, โกสชฺชํ, มุฏฺฐสฺสจฺจํ, ทุปฺปญฺญตํ—อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, ฉ ธมฺเม ปหาย ภพฺโพ อนาคามิผลํ สจฺฉิกาตุนฺ”ติฯ
After giving up six things you can realize the fruit of non-return. What six? Lack of faith, conscience, and prudence; laziness, unmindfulness, and witlessness. After giving up these six things you can realize the fruit of non-return.”
