သာဝတ္ထိနိဒါနံ၊
At Sāvatthī.
ဧကမန္တံ နိသိန္နော ခေါ သော ဘိက္ခု ဘဂဝန္တံ ဧတဒဝေါစ:
Seated to one side, that bhikkhu said to the Buddha:
“ကော နု ခေါ, ဘန္တေ, ဟေတု, ကော ပစ္စယော, ယေန မ်'ဣဓေကစ္စေ သံသေဒဇာ နာဂါ ဥပေါသထံ ဥပဝသန္တိ ဝေါဿဋ္ဌကာယာ စ ဘဝန္တီ”တိ?
“Sir, what is the cause, what is the reason why some moisture-born dragons keep the Uposatha day, having transformed their bodies?”
(သဗ္ဗံ ဝိတ္ထာရေတဗ္ဗံ၊)
