“ပဉ္စဟိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု အလံသာဇီဝေါ သဗြဟ္မစာရီနံ၊ ကတမေဟိ ပဉ္စဟိ?
“Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu with five qualities is fit to share their life with their spiritual companions. What five?
ဣဓ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဘိက္ခု အတ္တနာ စ သီလသမ္ပန္နော ဟောတိ, သီလသမ္ပဒါယ ကထာယ စ ကတံ ပဉှံ ဗျာကတ္တာ ဟောတိ;
A bhikkhu is personally accomplished in ethics, and answers questions posed when discussing accomplishment in ethics.
အတ္တနာ စ သမာဓိသမ္ပန္နော ဟောတိ, သမာဓိသမ္ပဒါယ ကထာယ စ ကတံ ပဉှံ ဗျာကတ္တာ ဟောတိ;
They’re personally accomplished in samādhi, and they answer questions posed when discussing accomplishment in samādhi.
အတ္တနာ စ ပညာသမ္ပန္နော ဟောတိ, ပညာသမ္ပဒါယ ကထာယ စ ကတံ ပဉှံ ဗျာကတ္တာ ဟောတိ;
They’re personally accomplished in wisdom, and they answer questions posed when discussing accomplishment in wisdom.
အတ္တနာ စ ဝိမုတ္တိသမ္ပန္နော ဟောတိ, ဝိမုတ္တိသမ္ပဒါယ ကထာယ စ ကတံ ပဉှံ ဗျာကတ္တာ ဟောတိ;
They’re personally accomplished in freedom, and they answer questions posed when discussing accomplishment in freedom.
အတ္တနာ စ ဝိမုတ္တိဉာဏဒဿနသမ္ပန္နော ဟောတိ, ဝိမုတ္တိဉာဏဒဿနသမ္ပဒါယ ကထာယ စ ကတံ ပဉှံ ဗျာကတ္တာ ဟောတိ၊
They’re personally accomplished in the knowledge and vision of freedom, and they answer questions posed when discussing accomplishment in the knowledge and vision of freedom.
ဣမေဟိ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ပဉ္စဟိ ဓမ္မေဟိ သမန္နာဂတော ဘိက္ခု အလံသာဇီဝေါ သဗြဟ္မစာရီနန်”တိ၊
